Sanford Health to hold Native Americans with Stethoscopes event

Sanford Health of Bemidji is set to host its yearly Native Americans with Stethoscopes event, a program designed to introduce Indigenous students to careers in health care. The gathering will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
The event aims to break down barriers and spark interest in the medical field among Native American youth. Attendees will have the chance to interact with health care professionals, try out medical equipment, and learn about different roles ranging from nursing to surgery.
