Ardent Health has entered into an agreement with Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corp. to deploy the company's advanced patient imaging platform across its network. The deal will bring Fujifilm's enterprise imaging software to hospitals and clinics operating in six states.
The technology is designed to streamline medical imaging workflows by using artificial intelligence to assist radiologists and clinicians. It aims to improve diagnostic accuracy and speed up the time it takes to review scans such as X-rays, MRIs, and CTs. The platform also allows for easier sharing of images across different facilities, which can be critical for patients who need care at multiple locations.
Ardent Health operates a range of hospitals and outpatient centers. By standardizing on Fujifilm's system, the health system hopes to create a more unified approach to image management. This move reflects a broader trend in healthcare where providers are investing in digital tools to handle the growing volume of medical images.
The rollout is expected to take place over the coming months. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
