In honor of Women’s Health Week, the Olson Center for Women's Health is set to host a series of informative presentations and engaging activities aimed at raising awareness about critical health issues affecting women. One of the highlights will be a presentation focused on migraines, a condition that disproportionately affects women and can significantly impact their quality of life.
Additionally, there will be a discussion on brain injury and its implications specifically for women's health, shedding light on how this often-overlooked issue can affect women's lives. These presentations aim to educate attendees on the unique health challenges women face and provide valuable resources for management and support.
To add a creative twist to the week, the center will also offer a calligraphy class. This hands-on workshop not only encourages artistic expression but also promotes relaxation and mindfulness, which are essential components of overall well-being. The events promise to be both enlightening and enjoyable, fostering a sense of community and empowerment among participants.
